Second Lieutenant Jonah Forrest is finding out that having infinite lives doesn’t make war any easier. This was actually rather good. I enjoy a military thing of this calibre a great deal and this one delivered in all the right places. Cleverly put together technology, a poor Second Lieutenant everyone can get behind and with senior officers less comprehensible than the aliens sometimes, it’s good, gun-carrying fun for any military sci-fi enthusiast or Rick Shelley fan.
